Weather Aware

Although most seasons only come around once, here where I live, Tornado Season is in the winter months and the spring. Tornadoes form when the cold air and the warm air collide. Tornadoes are dangerous and unfortunately, they are deadly. A Tornado Watch means that conditions are favorable and ripe for tornadoes. A Tornado Warning means that a tornado has been seen nearby, and we should take cover. An interior room that is away from all windows is a preferred place to go, or a basement. Within the past few years, it's also been suggested that we wear a football helmet as we go into our Safe Place, that way, we can tackle any tornadoes that might come our way. Gary
