Log In to PostApple just dropped two very different kinds of Mac
Apple quietly made this a pretty interesting desktop week. The new Mac mini with M6 is the everyday machine getting a serious upgrade. Apple says the new 2nm M6 brings up to 40% faster CPU performance, along with major gains in graphics, storage and on-device AI. Then there's the completely different beast: Mac Studio with M5 Ultra. This thing is aimed squarely at people doing ridiculous workloads — up to a 36-core CPU, 80-core GPU and 512GB of unified memory. Apple is also pushing the local-AI angle pretty hard. Honestly, I'm more interested in the gap between these two machines than either product individually. You've got a tiny $-friendly desktop that can handle everyday work and AI, sitting in the same lineup as a machine designed for filmmakers, developers, VFX artists and people running massive AI models locally. Question for the community: If you were building a new Mac setup today, would you go small with the M6 Mac mini, or go completely overboard with the M5 Ultra Studio? XRP Watch 3.18.2026
Big news everyone and it’s the shift we’ve all been waiting for. The SEC just flipped the script! Under the new leadership of Paul Atkins, they’ve finally moved away from "regulation by enforcement" and issued clear guidance that officially classifies most of the crypto we know and love as commodities, not securities. For anyone who’s been following the XRP journey, this is the moment!!! XRP is explicitly on that "Digital Commodity" list. After years of legal battles, the SEC has acknowledged that XRP is a functional part of its ecosystem and not an investment contract. It’s not just XRP, either: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Cardano, and Dogecoin are all officially in the commodity club now! I am not a fan of all cryptos but XRP is looking like a good investment right now! It's a New day for Crypo. https://youtu.be/cjibSqTvINc?si=OL6YbDZGXhJM-Wt2
